As a Technical Maintenance Engineer, you will be essential in maintaining high standards of equipment performance through proactive inspections, troubleshooting, and implementing maintenance strategies. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team to ensure machinery stays in top condition, helping the company achieve its production goals while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections on machinery and equipment to spot potential issues early
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and upgrades
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during all maintenance activities
Who would be a great fit
- HND or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Solid knowledge of maintenance practices, troubleshooting techniques, and equipment operation
- Experience with PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive, team-friendly attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
