Shipping Coordinator - Swindon

Job Title:        Shipping Coordinator

Location:        Swindon. One day per week at Heathrow Airport

Term:              Permanent

Salary:           £25,000 - £29,000

Job Overview:

The Job holder is responsible for maintaining a liaison between the customer and client. Act as a go-between Customer Logistics Division and our client. Monitor and report Developments at Customer Logistics requirements. To be the “Face” of our client based within their customer.

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:

1. To move cargo on customer instruction
2. To complete and maintain Excel Spreadsheets with Accuracy and in timely manner
3. To ensure Date integrity is maintained at the highest level on all data sheets
4. Update replenishment of stock records
5. To ensure the client has all the information required
6. Judge and report stock rotation and seasonal trends
7. Daily data sheets updating
8. Daily communication with our client
9. Daily organisation of Bills of Lading information, packing lists and general documentation

Shipping Coordinator Requirements:

1. At least 2 years of progressive experience in Freight forwarding industry is an advantage
2. Extensive knowledge of Excel
3. Exceptional customer service skills
4. To be highly organised
5. To be meticulous in details
