We’re searching for a friendly, proactive SHEQ Support Assistant to join our client based in Swindon. If you hold a NEBOSH qualification and have experience in general admin, this could be your next exciting career move! This role offers the perfect opportunity to work closely with the SHEQ team, supporting key compliance activities and improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Compliance Manager. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the QMS Management System, ensuring it meets business requirements and standards
- Support the identification and implementation of improvements across the business
- Help prepare and carry out SHEQ internal audits to monitor compliance levels
- Provide support relating to document control and manage improvement requests within the QMS system
- Contribute to the completion of customer tender documents and associated supporting documentation
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- NEBOSH qualification (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years’ experience in health and safety, environmental management or quality assurance
- Good attention to detail and high standards of compliance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team and use own initiative
- Adaptable to changes in regulations and procedures
- Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is desirable
