Senior Supervisor job description
Salary / Hourly paid / Hours
Based on a 42hour week (Additional hours will be required to support the business needs)
Typical hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (Some weekend work will be required to support the operations)
Transport is essential for this position due to the location
Role function and Purpose
- To assist with the running of all warehouse operations.
- To ensure warehouse operations are carried out in line with UK and EU laws, Health and Safety regulations and company policy’s and procedures.
- Manage performance of warehouse department staff with an emphasis on productivity, efficiency and providing the highest quality of service to our clients.
- To ensure stock is controlled, made ready for despatch and processed on return post – events
- Manage and develop staff to achieve their maximum potential. Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, motivating, coaching, mentoring and coordinate training and personnel development.
- Assist with the development of existing quality management systems.
- Become an expert in the current internal computer systems to generate reports, picking lists and operational associated paperwork.
- Help introduce new practises and procedures in the warehouse and ensure these are followed. Introduce and promote a new positive culture within the warehouse with regards to proposed changes.

- Assist with the design of a new warehouse layout which includes new picking bay locations, returned stock areas, and damaged goods area.
- Work with the Assistant Operations Manager to identify smart working processes.
- Assist with Citation observation report findings
