  Days: Monday to Friday 

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week).  

Pay Rate: £9p/h - £9.50p/h

Reporting to: Logistics Manager 

This is a contract assignment until 24th December, immediate starts. 

This role will be very busy one, based in a quiet working environment. The successful candidate will have a flexible attitude and must be able to work well in a team but also be self-motivated and able to use initiative;  have excellent communication skills on the phone and by email; be organised, thorough and meticulous in attention to detail; be a problem solver and be able to keep calm under pressure. 

 

Main duties & responsibilities:

Sales Order Processing:

  • Processing sales orders incoming from customers and sales team on SAP
  • Check and confirm all incoming orders through the website and make ready for shipping
  • Liaise with customers on lead times and delivery status on their orders
  • Liaise with customers for payment of their orders where the customer has no account or is over the credit limit
  • Liaise with Logistics team on all orders requiring special attention
  • Liaise with Logistics team on all orders changed or cancelled after initial processing

Sales Order Progressing

  • Ongoing liaison with customers where payment is required prior to delivery
  • Assist customers with order tracking and work with the couriers to resolve problems
  • Rectify mistakes on processing and order specification

Communication:

  • Liaise with Sales and Technical where appropriate to accurately process orders
  • Liaise with Logistics where necessary
  • Liaise with customers to provide a high standard of customer service

  • Good administration skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good communication and telephone skills
  • Professional and respectful at all times
  • Dress appropriately for your position
  • Ensure punctuality at the start of the working day while keeping to your specified lunch breaks
