Quality Inspector/Engineer

Our well established client are expanding once again and are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector/Engineer.

The Role:

To inspect and test products

To Investigate non-conformances

Main Duties:

• Inspection and testing of electronic and mechanical products
• Goods inward and outward inspection
• Investigating non-conformities to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Training of technicians and assemblers on quality matters as required
• Controlling and writing quality documents and reports as required
• Other duties as required by a manager or director of the Company

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of testing electronics instrumentation and mechanical inspection
• Good soldering inspection skills
• Experience of non-conformity investigation, analysis, follow up and reporting
• Good problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to write and present reports to managers
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Advantageous:

• Formal qualification in electronics
• Knowledge of ISO 9001

Salary and hours:

• This position is for a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday
• Salary: circa £25,000 per annum depending on capabilities and experience
