Quality Assurance Op - Based in Highworth, SN6.

£13p/hour 

Temp to Perm 

Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. 

 

Main duties / responsibilities

  • Inspection of packs (bags and boxes) and recording traceability details of products used.

  • Solving quality issues as they arise in production and reporting to management.

  • Completing daily start up sheets before production commences.

  • Assisting Production Supervisor with smooth running of production lines, to include overseeing staff working in production.

  • Random checks of products used to stop issues occurring during pack.

  • Inspection of deliveries to agreed sampling plan with specification targets outlined.

  • Reporting/rejecting products not meeting the agreed supply specification.

  • Completion of intake report to collate all product receipt information, providing product status and maintain an accurate log of product status (hold/reject or pass).

  • Completion of non-conformance documentation, ensuring relevant information is provided to the technical team.

  • Training on over labelling to ensure correct labels are applied in the correct location.

  • Providing inspection support service for goods where queries are raised by the production and planning team.

  • Releasing stock from hold once passed or as corrective actions completed.

  • Verification of menu sheets for production, including providing additional information identified as required.

  • Maintain records to agreed standards, liaising with all key stakeholders effectively.

  • Be aware of and work in accordance with all company policies relating to health and safety.

  • Promote and enhance the HACCP and Quality Manual procedures.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a QA / QC role

  • Excellent analytical, communication and inter-personal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment making fast and logical decisions

  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise own workload, whilst maintaining composure under pressure

  • Good problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail
