Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Swindon
Salary: Up to £12.80 per hour, depending on experience
Days: 3 days per week
An exciting and immediate opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join our client's busy HR team.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly payroll for 1400+ employees
- Maintaining payroll data from submitted timesheets
- Processing new starters/leavers
- Calculating statutory payments
- Childcare Vouchers
- Monthly Commission Runs
- Dealing with 3rd party suppliers and ensuring accurate and timely payments
- Year-End Procedures
- Preparation of payroll journals & reports for finance & various key members of the business
- Handling and resolving payroll queries
- Working closely with the HR team to undertake and support the day-to-day processing of the weekly payroll alongside the Payroll Manager, together with any ad hoc duties that may arise.
Candidate requirements:
- Payroll experience preferably dealing with large numbers
- Experience of using accounting systems
- Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills inclusive of excel skills.
- You’ll be accurate and able to organise and prioritise your own workload
- Excel in a pressurised environment and to tight timescales
- The candidate needs to be flexible with their working hours
- The ability to multi-task is definitely a bonus.
