Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client is searching for a Maintenance Engineer to utilise their expertise to minimise machinery downtime. The successful candidate will demonstrate electrical and mechanical maintenance on vessels, conveyors, packaging and site infrastructure.
Roles / Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting all engineering breakdowns, diagnosing faults as soon as possible and replacement of parts
- Daily maintenance activities
- Rectifying all electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
- Enhancing, repairing, and maintaining all the plant equipment and plant services within the manufacturing facility as per the preventative maintenance schedule and updating the maintenance log
- Installation and commission of new machinery and equipment projects.
- Continuous improvement projects during planned downtime and identifying engineering solutions to maximise efficiency of the plant
- Requesting spares / consumables required to support the engineering activities to be undertaken
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
- Ability to work within a small team of engineers
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance role
- Plant maintenance experience with exposure to pneumatic, electronic and mechanical systems
- Ideally experienced in a manufacturing environment
- Multi Skilled with good electrical skills
- Electrical / Mechanical engineering qualification.
