Experienced Large Format Operator
Location: Swindon
Basis: Temp to Perm
Pay: £13 p/hour
Days/Shift: Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a litho & digital printing company with a reputation for both quality and service. It would appeal to an experienced individual looking to do a variety of tasks within a busy and long-established printing company. This is a role where no two days are never the same. You will work closely with the Head of Digital to ensure all jobs and variety of projects despatch on time and meet SLA’s. You will be working to ensure 100% accuracy is always maintained.
We are looking for a hard-working individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities. This person should be someone who could become part of the fabric of our Company over the next few years. The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize the workload to achieve maximum output would be critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all orders are despatched on time, in full and to the correct specification and quality
- To suggest and implement preventative measures to stop reoccurrence of any reported issues
- Setting and running large format printers
- Processing artwork through RIP for printing
- General upkeep and maintenance of machines
- Must be flexible. Your responsibility would be to make sure all orders despatch on time. So, if it gets to the end of the day and there are still outstanding orders, then you would be expected to work overtime to ensure all work is out
- Briefing and communicating information when receiving or passing jobs onto finishing department

Requirements:
- Extensive large format print production experience.
- Familiar with R.I.P. software. (EFI / ONYX / Cadlink or similar)
- Using large format printers
- Using large format finishing equipment
- Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
- Have a positive, “can do” attitude
- Work overtime when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Digital Textile printing and Dye Sub printing is a plus
