Bendi & Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Highworth, Swindon
Rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Contract Type: Ongoing (Permanent opportunity for the right candidate)
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Bendi & Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team. This is a varied role that combines forklift operation with warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating both Bendi (Flexi) and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Moving and replenishing stock within the warehouse
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Bendi (Flexi) and Counterbalance forklift licences (in-date)
- Previous experience operating both forklift trucks
- Warehouse experience is essential
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Own transport is beneficial due to the location
