AV/LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum (depending on experience)
Working Days - Monday - Friday (must be able to work out of hours and at weekends)
Working Hours - 9:00 - 17:00
Our Client is looking for an energetic and well motivated candidate to join their successful team, working out of base in Swindon.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events.
- Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of all AV and lighting systems.
- Provide technical support during rehearsals, events, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards for AV and lighting setups.
- Keep detailed records of equipment inventory and maintenance history.
- Collaborate with team members and event organizers to execute seamless events/productions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in audiovisual and lighting setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle equipment setup and operation.
- Certification or training in audiovisual technology, lighting design, or related fields is a plus.
- Driving company vehicles to deliver and collect equipment from suppliers/venues.
Must have their own transport.
