Position: Assistant Assembly Team Leader
Salary: £23,525
Hours: 07.45/8.00 am – 16.15/16.30 pm Monday to Thursday - 07.45/8.00 am – 15.15/15.30 pm Friday. 39 hours per week.
Holidays: 22 days per annum rising to 25 after one year (+ Statutory Bank holidays)
As an Assistant Team Leader you will report directly to the Assembly Team Leader & Shop Foreman
We are looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond to help ensure customer on time delivery requirements are met and work alongside the current Team Leader to ensure the smooth running of the finishing department of nine staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Supervisory role and possibly an Engineering background although advantageous this is not a requirement.
Job Description
Following are a list of the main and most important duties and responsibilities, these are not exhaustive and you will be required to have a flexible approach as you may be requested to assist/carry out other tasks and duties in other areas as and when the need arises.
- Administration Experience (Essential)
- Progress chase work from the company report screens, Liaising with Production and Office Staff
- Leading a finishing cell Team and giving daily Instructions
- As and when required working extra hours to help with any urgent customer requirements
- Willing to learn every aspect of the finishing cell
- Works well under instruction and can cope with pressure
Other Duties will include
- Kitting Jobs from correct Locations for despatch
- Assembling company products for customer requirements ready for Packing
- Packing Customer jobs and despatching them on correct courier
- Help with Stores Duties which include booking in material and consumables and putting away in correct locations
- Fully Conversant with Linvar storage system
- Full fork lift driving license an advantage
