Required to support and complete all second op and finishing processes within the company
Working hours
Day Shift hours:
Monday to Thursday 07.45 am/8.00 am – 16.15 pm/16.30 pm
Friday 07.45 am/8.00 am – 15.15 pm/15.30 pm
Lunch break 12.00 midday – 12.30 pm
Daily duties:
- To set operate and mind our Spark erosion machines ensuring parts are completed to drawing specification
- To load and mind a semi-automatic drilling machine, maintaining the machine in run mode at all times
- To use and operate a medium sized shot blasting unit, ensuring parts are masked to drawing requirements.
- With the use of a specialist fettling machine polish all welded products to company standards
- Deburr all products to drawing requirements.
- The cleaning of all welded parts using a Tig Brush cleaning system
- To use and operate an automatic solvent cleaning machine ensuring the components are protected from any damage.
- Where applicable, the 100% Visual inspection of components to ensure no defects are missed.
- The general housekeeping of the area.
Current or previous Engineering experience would be advantageous, especially experience in using inspection measuring equipment.
