Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early
• Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment running at peak performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly and efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and improve machine reliability
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and operational procedures

Who will fit in well:

• Solid experience in Mechanical Engineering and maintenance practices
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Ready to work day shifts from 6pm to 6am on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off basis

Reach Forklift Driver 

Location: Swindon
Rate: £13.93 per hour
Hours: 2pm-10pm (Monday to Friday). 
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent contracts available for the right candidates)

Job Description:

Our client, is looking for a skilled and reliable Reach Forklift Driver to join their team. This is a physically demanding role, working with furniture pieces, so a strong work ethic and good fitness levels are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Reach Forklift to move and store furniture safely
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting the warehouse team with general duties
• Following health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Reach Forklift License (in-date)
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
