Job Title Yard Operative
Contract Term: Temp - Perm
Hourly Rate: £9.50 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Sector: Product Distribution
Main Duties:
- Pack and dispatch online orders, to be collected by courier/lorry
- Accuracy in packing and counting items
- Unload lorries with incoming stock, store in yard.
- Load lorries with outgoing orders.
- Fill out stock check forms and email report back to office
- Monitor packaging materials and pass on a list of items to be reordered by office
- Meet realistic production targets
Candidate requirements:
- Counter Balance Forklift license
- Physically fit, as lifting up to 20kg parcels is required
- Good communication skills
- Can-do attitude, that solves warehouse operation problems on the spot
- Prepared to do a variety of tasks, that vary from day today
- Self-motivated and able to work alone/unsupervised
