Supply Chain Order Processor

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Order Manager;

  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Salary from £18k to £21k, depending on experience
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays

  • 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday with an early finish one day of the week

 

Job Purpose

Our goal is to ensure that we have the right quantity of the right product in the right place at the right time, at the least amount of overall cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all orders have the correct details
  • Place orders with suppliers ensuring lead times are met
  • Maintain production dates on operational reports and business ERP systems
  • Print and distribute office reports on a weekly basis i.e. production schedule, orders in, showroom/customer reports/factory paperwork
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure order queries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process remedial orders within a strict lead time.
  • Assist with purchasing of raw materials such as door orders, glass and other raw materials.
  • Participate in company stock takes and cyclical counts to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Monitoring of supplier performance ensuring that all agreed SLA’s are met. Including receipt of proof of deliveries, that agreed delivery times are adhered to and that the supplier invoices are in line with agreed costs.
  • Any other reasonable duties specified by the head of department

Skill Requirements

  • Administration and Supply Chain experience
  • Attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy
  • Keeping to strict deadlines & procedures
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communicator to all levels of the business and suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly excel
  • Ability to react to problems and resolve on own initiative
  • Familiarity with ERP and ordering systems
