An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Swindon office for a dynamic recruitment consultant who can work across a variety of specialties.


Established in 1975, Storm Recruitment is an independent employment business providing comprehensive recruitment services and consultancy to both clients and applicants alike. Following a management buy-out in 2015, we have ambitious expansion plans along with maintaining our reputation as one of the most respected agencies in the area.


Providing individual or high volume recruitment services for temporary, contract, temporary to permanent and permanent employment, our principal recruitment areas cover Commercial Office, Construction, Technical, Information Technology and Industrial sectors encompassing vacancies from junior and graduate levels through to senior management and executive status.


Your day to day duties will include (but not limited to):


  • Expertly sourcing, screening and interviewing the right candidates to match vacancies including obtaining references
  • Supporting upper management
  • Management of temporary staff
  • Placing candidates in permanent roles
  • Developing existing client relationships and managing key accounts
  • Proactively sourcing leads for new business through a range of different methods.
  • General administration duties
  • Keeping our web presence up to date and accurate i.e our website, social media etc…


This role is suited to someone who thrives in a results driven environment. You will be someone who would welcome working to and exceeding targets.


Successful candidate requirements:


  • Candidates should ideally have at least 2 years experience in either B2B or face to face sales. Recruitment experience would also be ideal, but is not essential.
  • A motivated, outgoing person. Enthusiastic and a good communicator with the ability to build rapport with people quickly.
  • Being professional, presentable with an eye for detail.
  • Support both the Director and Office Manager and take initiative when necessary.
  • Be at ease dealing with clients and candidates on the phone
  • Have strong spoken and written skills and a good knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to learn new systems
  • Being persistent, able to deal with pressure, resilient and having the drive and determination to succeed are essential for this role.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required to do so – this isn’t too often at all.


Ongoing training and a comprehensive commission become available once the initial probation period is successful.


20 Days Holiday (plus bank holidays).
