Project

 

Overall Responsibility

Overseeing multiple projects, you will be the primary point of contact internally and externally and will be focused ensuring effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle from award to completion 

 

Project Manager Key Ongoing Tasks:

  • Producing and maintaining accurate records of work undertaken.
  • Defining and imbedding project control and governance.
  • Designing and maintain accurate and current programs of work for assigned projects.
  • Providing Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio.
  • Providing routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level.
  • Overseeing project costs and ensuring finances are well managed.
  • Supporting the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations and lessons learned.
  • Delivering projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability and safety.
  • Taking decisions as and when required, including pre-empting implications of decisions and identifying solutions.
  • Attending site when necessary to troubleshoot or monitor quality.
  • Conducting audits.
  • Maximising profitability for the business at all times, considering innovative or better practices to deliver project efficiency wherever it is possible to do so.
  • Ensuring cross-programme dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained.
  • Ensuring efficient change control methods and process are utilised.
  • Working across multiple disciplines and deal with sites, customers and designers daily remaining organized and agile whilst working with multiple teams and individuals.

Project Manager Candidates requirements:

  • A top internal communicator making sure your clients needs are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Motivated to tackle challenging situations with strict deadlines to ensure a project is delivered first time, every time, on time, within budget and in full
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Project Management with a ICP or DNO
  • self-starter with confidence working autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Experience in electrical industry
