Salary:                                                  Up to £30,000 depending on experience

 

Project Manager Job Details: 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Retail Operations) to join our client's team on an 18 month fixed-term contract. The company operates 17 shops selling donated goods as part of its income generation strategy with an ambitious programme of more openings over the next five years. 

The retail strategy has identified a number of key projects as we move through the next stage of our development. This role will own and manage these projects autonomously through to their completion. They are likely to include a potential warehouse move, sourcing new shop sites, developing processes to capture gift aid in warehouse and recycled stock, corporate sourcing of quality stock and establishing e-commerce and furniture up-cycling and a volunteer recruitment project. Other projects may emerge.

Candidates should have strong project management skills with a track record of successfully completing projects on time and on budget. Good analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior knowledge or experience of the individual projects is not essential, although an understanding of e-commerce and the charity retail sector is desirable.

Project Manager Candidate requirements include:

  • Good standard of general education
