Project Manager – Exhibitions Stands
A leading provider of custom-made exhibition stands is looking for a Project Manager with at least 2 years’ project management experienced to join their team based in Swindon.
With over 25 years in the exhibition industry, they offer a complete service from design and construction to installation, catering for all budgets and exhibition requirements.
Based out of their Swindon offices, you will fully manage projects from the initial client brief to project handover onsite, working closely with the design team to produce concept visuals.
About the Project Manager role:
- Working on client quotations, terms of business and proposals, formulating costing and compiling quotations for presentation
- Liaising with the stand designers to translate your design brief into a winning design concept
- Following up on leads to onboard new clients
- Being assigned existing projects/clients and being required to present continuity
- Liaising with your customers on a regular basis attending briefing meeting and onsite handovers
- Developing client relationships and retaining a strong bond with your customer for repeat business and cross-sell opportunities will be key
- Taking complete ownership of any project given to you and sees it through to the very end making sure deadlines are met successfully every time alongside client expectations
- Developing new business from your portfolio as well as creating opportunities to work with new clients
- Working towards a quarterly target
On-site handovers of your stands are an important and rewarding part of the role, seeing your project through to its completion. This will require you to work Out Of Hours and occasionally on a weekend and as the projects dictate.
About you:
- 2+ years’ Project Management Experience
- Customer Service: 2 years
- Customer Relations: 3 years
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent at problem-solving and working on solutions
- Prepared to be on site for evening and weekend stand handovers as required
- A creative mind with an ability to visualise in both 2D and 3D
With a large bank of international clients, being able to manage your time to synchronise with client time zones is essential along with understanding the different communication skills and working practices this sometimes requires.
