Job Description:
To own all transactions and reconciliations related to AR and AP Ledgers, resolve customers and suppliers’ queries, chase outstanding debt, and input cashbook transactions. To assist other members in the accounts department with ad-hoc tasks.
- Input AP invoices
- Contact customers, chasing cash and clearing issues.
- Maintain payments-in-query file, liaise with Customer Services to resolve unpaid debt.
- File and input manual invoices and credit notes.
- Prepare recharge invoices.
- Maintain invoices-in-query file, chase resolution from internal staff, call suppliers for credit notes.
- Journal input at month-end.
- Other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
Job Skills Required:
- A highly organized individual requiring minimum supervision and training.
- Good working experience in an accounting office performing a variety of roles.
- Flexibility in working approach and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Attention to details for matching purposes and high input accuracy and speed.
- Conversant with a variety of ERP systems.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office Suite (Especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Pleasant and confident telephone manners
- Ability to liaise with Customer Services team to resolve queries.
- Maintaining a tidy work desk, following a standardized and accurate filing system.
