Our client is looking for an enthusiastic person with, preferably, an understanding or interest in sound and music production. The position is for a Musician Assistant working for a small Recording Productions Company
owned by an iconic musician and songwriter based Nr Lambourn, Berkshire.

A Musicain Assistant is an entry-level position, acting as general assistant and undertaking whatever basic tasks are required to assist in the smooth running of this Recording Company. 


This role could be taken on by a male or female, but it does require a good degree of
fitness and strength.
Applicant must have a clean driving license and own transport as the offices/studios are
in a rural location.
Due to the nature of the business and its owner, the applicant must also understand the
need for confidentiality and discretion in all matters relating to the business and its
owner. The applicant will be expected to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and the use
of social media to describe anything relating to the business will not be allowed.
This is a very basic role but for the right applicant the position and responsibilities could
grow. It's all down to you!

All applicants should provide

 

General duties 

  • Helping to move equipment and furniture between different studios, office locations and storage facilities etc
  • Assisting with the inventory of an audio archive
  • Running general errands
  • Occasional light shopping

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • You must be physically fit due to the heavy lifting and fast pace movement.
  • Must also understand the need for confidentiality and discretion in all matters relating to the business and its owner
  • You will be expected to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and the use of social media to describe anything relating to the business will not be allowed
  • Having a technical understanding of how speakers and electronics are set up would be an advantage

 

This is a very day-to-day role but for the right person, the position and responsibilities will grow. It's all down to you!
