Job Title: Lathe Operator
Rate: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Location: Swindon
Term: Permanent
Working days / hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Storm Recruitment are working with a reputable Hydraulic and Mechanical engineering company based in Swindon and are actively seeking to recruit a full time manual Lathe Operator to work from their workshop. This is a new post and as such we are looking for experience lathe operators with the drive and knowledge to help support their growth.
The Lathe Operator Role duities:
- Operating the manual centre lathe turner
- Milling
- Read and interpret drawings
- Maintain safe work practices
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
Lathe Operator Candidate Key Requirements:
- Must have in-depth mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience and knowledge of Manually operating Lathe machinery
- Ability to assist mechanical team in other areas if required
- Strong attention to detail
- Hard working attitude
