LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Our client is a newly formed research department supporting a group of companies based in the UK and China and we are seeking an experienced laboratory technician to work with a small group of highly qualified engineers.
The group of companies’ design, build and market a range of high precision machine tools and bearing systems used in the semiconductor industry and our client’s specific role is to provide a full range of new product development, test, measurement and analytical services.
A technician is required to install, maintain and operate highly specialized instrumentation, manufacturing equipment and test rigs.
Five years’ experience in a precision mechanical engineering, mechatronic or electronics environment with an ability to use work shop machinery will be considered an advantage, however candidates will be expected to be able to acquire new knowledge as required to achieve project objectives.
Where appropriate training will be provided.
The company are based on the outskirts of Swindon - own transport is necessary to access the site.
The job is a permanent position with a competitive remunerations package which includes a salary in the range £22,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience)
