Qualifications

Must have or be willing to work towards one or more of the following terminating at a minimum of HND / Foundation Degree

Skills

Training will be provided to develop

Cognisance of typical engineering documentation including
- Drawings
- Bill of Materials
- Technical Specifications
- Production Guidelines
- Specialist Product Instructions
Ability to create, modify and manage production documentation to guide assembly operators in the manufacture of cable harness’ & electromechanical products
Ability to conceive and create specialist jigs and fixtures to aid production
Quotation of new assembly work
- Creation of technical Bill of Materials
- Estimation of labour
- Identification of special requirements
Good interaction with other team members and departments
Good technical skills to assist with fault finding and continuous improvement
Good attitude to challenges and technical issues

Upon successful completion of training daily duties will involve

Support production through action of
- Creation of production documentation for assembly and manufacture
- Direct assistance with production issues and technical difficulties
- Liaise with customers and other support staff to resolve technical issues
- Creation of jigs and fixtures
Support Sales through action of
- Quotation of assembly work (direct and assistance)
- Providing resolution of technical issues
