Internal Sales Negotiator
Reports to: Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
The Internal Sales Negotiator will open new business accounts and then maintain client relationships.
You will need to have exceptional negotiation skills, a proactive attitude, ambition and enthusiasm. The ability to build strong relationships with customers along with excellent communication skills is essential, ensuring that a friendly, helpful, honest and efficient service is maintained in line with the company’s values.
Key tasks and responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact for your customers and support in the growth and success of the sales department.
- To achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as defined
- Generating new accounts in competitive market
- Selling our clients services in line with company values to generate new and repeat business
- Negotiating cost with customers independently or under the direction of the Sales Manager where necessary
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
- Accurate entry of data into all company in-house CRM systems and maintaining the integrity of records
- Building relationships and liaising with colleagues in other departments and with external contacts
- Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel etc
- Managing a portfolio of accounts and it’s performance and profitability when profit and volume are not maximized
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
- Completing administrative work, as required
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met

Agreed personal KPIs including sales, calls, profitability and team targets
Technical knowledge and experience
Sales and Account Management in a customer focused environment
Educated to GSCE level or equivalent
Good Literacy and numeracy skills
PC Literate – Microsoft Office packages
Must have driving licence and own transport
