HURCO SETTER OPERATOR or SETTER OPERATOR PROGRAMMER
Reporting to the Factory Supervisor/Production Manager
We are looking for a competent programmer with experience of VMCs ideally having used Hurco machines.
Responsible for:
- Ensuring that you have all the correct parts and drawings are available to carry out the job.
- The accurate setting, operating and basic programming of the Hurco machine to enable the manufacture of component parts to drawing.
- The accurate setting and operating of the CNC machines to enable the manufacture of component parts to drawing.
- Recording all set- up details and carrying out regular machine checks.
- Training how to programme the machines to work towards autonomous programming.
- Reporting all quality issues to the Quality Manager/Works Supervisor.
- Communicating any problems as early as possible.
- Being flexible and positive in your approach.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and being mindful of the Risk Assessments for your activity.
- Working efficiently and effectively.
- Keep working area clean and tidy.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Hours of work: Split or evening shift available for this post.
Rate of Pay: Depending on experience.
