Head of Paid Search Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly talented, ambitious PPC/Paid Search professional to build and shape the Paid Search, Display and Social capability and proposition at Infinity Nation. Specifically, you will:

  • Build and manage Paid Search Campaigns across a number of paid platforms (including but not limited to Adwords, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Linkedin), following best practice guidelines. This includes but is not limited to; budget management, performing keyword research, writing ads, account optimisation & bid management
  • In collaboration with account managers and client teams, ensure that campaign and project KPIs are clearly understood, aligned with client needs, agreed, documented and disseminated to your delivery team.
  • Build, manage and develop a small team of PPC Executives & plan resource accordingly.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Management Team, develop a compelling and differentiated Paid Search proposition for the company
  • Take ownership of reports, ensuring accuracy of data and quality of insight is maintained and continually improved.
  • Ensure that the clients’ expectations in terms of campaign deliverables, service and efficiencies are met and exceeded
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering revenue and ROI growth on well-established accounts.
  • Attend face to face meetings and having telephone calls with clients where appropriate.
  • Lead and/or provide in new business pitches, chemistry meetings & sales calls
  • Contribute to white papers and thought leadership initiatives, developing our client’s reputation as an industry-leader in the field of digital marketing
  • Take the lead in identifying needs for new products, services, pivotal in defining and delivering in line with agency strategic planning.

 

Head of Paid Search Requirements:

  • Google Adwords Certified. (Bing Certification is also desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight time frames.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working within PPC marketing, ideally in both agency and client-side roles.
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management skills and accurate timekeeping.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience with Google Shopping Campaigns is essential.
  • Excellent understanding of Google Analytics and be Google Analytics certified.
  • Experience in Paid Social such as Facebook, Instagram & Twitter is highly desirable.
  • Experience of managing multiple campaigns at the same time across different verticals in Google platform is essential.
  • Experience in creating and delivering product specific training sessions to other staff members and paying clients.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – across all levels, internally and externally
  • Sound commercial awareness
  • To keep up-to-date with the industry & be the “go to” person within the business with regards to latest paid search innovations.
