Job Title: Foreman UPVC Window Fabricator
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Hours: 7AM – 3:45PM Monday to Friday (Plus overtime when required @ Time 1/3 & Time 1/2)
Contract: Permanent
Remuneration: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum
We are looking for dynamic, proactive, energetic and Experienced fabricator with a keen eye for detail to join us. We are a growing company with a 25+ year history of supplying quality products to both the UPVC Window trade & DIY market. Overtime is frequently available to take the expected earnings to £25,000 per annum or more. The successful applicant will have previous experience of leading a team in a batch production environment, ideally manufacturing UPVC frames.
Basic outline of the role:
- Ensure work flows smoothly & in line with times allowed for each task.
- Oversee training in general.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Assist sales team regarding technical queries
- Organise overtime as required
- Liaise with Operations Manager regarding material & quality issues
- Full fabrication of UPVC & Aluminium windows, doors & bifolds.
- Follow works orders and system manuals to ensure the correct spec is always achieved.
- Use of machinery such as welders, corner cleaners, saws, millers and crimpers etc.
- Complete tasks within a given time-frame.
