Job Title: Finance Administrator
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
Location: Swindon
Term: Permanent
Finance Administrator responsibilities:
The new person, who will report to the Accounts Manager and closely with the Systems Manager, will be required to assist in most areas of accounting, potentially including:
- Creating Supplier invoices - approximately 300 per month
- Creating Sales invoices - 500 - 600 per month
- Some petty cash reconciliation
- Credit control
- Payroll data preparation
- Some non-accounting admin tasks, some of which will utilise Excel spreadsheets.
- This role would not suit someone who has ambitions to become an accountant as it is a generic financial administration position
Finance Administrator requirements:
- Able work to high volume - which can be repetitive
- Sage experience and ability to learn new systems
- Reliable, trustworthy with a good, consistent career history
- Happy to assist in other administrative areas where required
- Very good work ethic
- Outgoing team player who is sociable and has a good sense of humour
- Able to work in a confined environment
- Must have a car due to location of job (no public transport)
Hours are 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with thirty minutes for lunch, [which is to be taken in a mutually agreed rota].
