Our well-established client has been designing and manufacturing precision micro-machining equipment and dicing saws for over 40 years. They have many machines in operation on sites around the globe and work actively with a network of international agents.
They have a reputation for building very reliable high specification machines that are genuinely built to last. The company regularly service machines that have been at work in a production environment for over 30 years.
We are seeking a field service engineer to cover their UK and overseas clients. The successful service engineer will be working alongside a long serving field service engineer who has worked for the company for over 20 years.
Full training will be provided, the ideal candidate will have an electro mechanical engineering background or a strong mechanical engineering background.
The role is contracted to a 37-hour week however this may differ given the nature of the position where you will be visiting clients.
If the successful service engineer is to stay away overnight, you will receive an overnight allowance as well as your accommodation and food paid for.
The company cover UK, Europe, Asia, Scandinavia and the USA.
The ideal candidate will;
- Be experienced providing field maintenance
- Be prepared to travel however, the role will not require the successful engineer to be away from home for long periods of time.
- Have strong PC skills as the machinery will be computer controlled
- Be extremely confident with fixing machinery
- Have hands on experience
- Have a electro mechanical background
- Have strong mechanical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
£30,000 - £35,000
