Job Title: Fabricator - Windows and uPVC
Location: Swindon
Term: Permanent
Salary: Up to £23,500 per annum
We are looking for an Experienced fabricator with a keen eye for detail to join a growing team in Swindon on a permanent basis. Overtime is frequently available to increase expected earnings. The client manufacture both UPVC windows & doors and Aluminium bi-folds. The role will include many areas of production and manufacturing along with the use of associated machinery such as welders, corner cleaners, saws, millers and crimpers etc.
Main Duties:
- Ensure workflows smoothly & in line with times allowed for each task
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Liaise with Manager regarding material & quality issues
- Full fabrication of UPVC & Aluminium windows, doors & bi-folds.
- Follow works orders and system manuals to ensure the correct spec is always achieved.
- Use of machinery such as welders, corner cleaners, saws, millers and crimpers etc.
- Complete tasks within a given time-frame.
Candidate requirements:
- Experienced fabricator welder
- hard-working attitude with a consistent working background
- Flexible top be able to work overtime as and when needed
- Able to read and understand drawings and instructions
