Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm

Job summary:
Coltec collator & Buhrs mailing machine Operator

Our client are seeking a machine operator for the above machines. This role is designed to set up and run either of the above machines in line with manufacturing requirements. This role will ensure tools and supplies are properly maintained. You will be required to support the team and perform this role of a high standard. You will be required to work closely with the teams and all departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements where applicable as well as prepare and maintain appropriate documentation for collating & mailing operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation for the required jobs 
  • Observe company work rules and safety regulations 
  • To operate the assigned machine in accordance with the set procedure 
  • To know and understand the entire operational requirements for the required machine 
  • To be fully aware of all the procedures required to carry out the task set
  • To be fully aware of the speed required for the task 
  • To be fully aware of the completion times/dates of the task
  • To have a full understanding of all the quality procedures required for the task
  • If a machine not running to optimum pack speed or quality, to highlight the problem to designated line manager

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instruction
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Physical demands include standing long periods of time and dexterity of hands
