The primary role of this position is to ensure that all aspects related to the support of the CNC Machines are dealt with in a safe & controlled manner within the CNC Machining Area.

As a CNC Machine Support Operative you will report directly to the Area Team Leader.  


Job Description:

Following are a list of the main and most important duties and responsibilities, these are not exhaustive and you will be required to have a flexible approach as you may be requested to assist/carry out other tasks and duties in other areas as and when the need arises:

  1. Safely, following and maintaining the procedures for the Issuing and Loading of Raw Material to the machines.
  1. Ensuring that the machines are maintained and ‘topped-up’ with coolant and oil.
  1. Managing the material waste from the CNC Machines by emptying of swarf bins and bar ends to company procedures. 
  1. The general housekeeping of the machines and all surrounding areas.
  1. Provide support and cover when and where necessary within other areas of the company.

 

Working hours

Day shift – Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week
