Job Title:          Client service executive 
Salary:             £18,000 - £18,500 per annum
Location:         Swindon
Hours:              9:00AM-5:30PM

Main responsibilities

  • Process client’s orders through to production in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all relevant information is contained within the orders (eg. client purchase order, delivery details, etc).
  • Manage own work in progress through the system, maintaining clear, relevant information is present (eg. logical job description, client references, production dates, etc).
  • Prioritise orders and queries to ensure all deadlines are met as expected according to client requirements.
  • Identify and highlight new client and special attention orders to ensure they follow the correct process through the whole production process.
  • Work and communicate effectively with the wider teams of the company to ensure the smooth workflow of clients’ orders.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients and ensure all client queries are resolved.


Essential behaviours and skills

  • Excellent and confident communication skills – face-to-face, telephone and written.
  • Proficient and organised in processing of order and queries.
  • Able to work well under pressure and deal with all queries in a calm, efficient and effective manner.
  • Be an effective problem-solver and act under own initiative to identify the best way to resolve client’s queries.
  • Consistently achieve specified targets of client orders to ensure work is carried out at maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness (eg. minimal or no spoilage, cleanly closed jobs with no information outstanding).
  • Experienced in PC use for Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work as an effective part of a team, and to prioritise and handle own workloads efficiently.
  • Be flexible when dealing with everyday fluctuating workloads and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Be proactive and helpful within the team, responding and helping other team members with their workloads and deadlines whenever possible.
  • Be well-presented, polite and courteous when dealing with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Follow relevant company and client procedures and respect client and company confidentiality.
