Job Title: Bindery Operative

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum
Job Overview:
We currently have a vacancy for a Bindery Operator. We are seeking someone that is conscientious with excellent finishing skills across all areas. This role involves all areas of make ready, running the machines efficiently and effectively, to achieve KPI`s. You will have a passion for all things finishing, and ability to think outside the box and problem solve where necessary, a get the job done attitude is highly sought after. Being part of the team is key with the flexibility to move around different finishing machines, Guillotine, Folders and stitchers etc.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in one or more of the following finishing areas, with the attitude to learn;
Finishing Equipment
- Polar Guillotine
- Heidelberg Stahl folder
- Heidelberg Stitch lines
- Various other finishing equipment
Requirements for the Role
- To have a passion for print finishing with an excellent can-do attitude
- To read and understand Job Bag information
- To be able to Make Ready and Run one or more of the machines listed above
- Have a good attitude to learn new equipment
- Contribute to the Finishing Teams goals and objectives
- Monitor and maintain quality of work produced to high standard
- High Attention to detail
- Maintain a good standard of tidiness and be organised
- Working to tight deadlines
- Being flexible when needed
The role would be working on a double day shift pattern, 40 hours per week, with an opportunity for overtime.
